Nice to meet you Ronan, can you tell us about Comet for our readers ?
Hello ! At Cometwe help companies find the best freelancers to meet their specific consulting and technology needs. You could say we're the matchmakers of the professional world !
We currently have about 70 employees, with a majority of salaried staff and about ten independent experts. We generated a turnover of 68 million euros last year and we expect to reach 100 million euros this year. So we are growing strongly!

What does a recruitment process "made in Comet" look like?
It all starts with identifying candidates through co-optation, recommendations, unsolicited applications or platforms such as Welcome to the Jungle. We value the community aspect at Comet and believe that friends of friends can become excellent colleagues.
After this first step, we generally organize two or three interviews with the team members with whom the candidate will be working. This is an opportunity, through a practical case related to the job in question, to align our common desires and visions. This allows us to verify if there is a good human and professional compatibility between the employees. Afterwards, we offer a day of immersion to the candidate, during which he or she can meet a large part of the team and discover the company's culture as well as the projects in progress.
This is of course an opportunity for the team to express its opinion on the fit between the candidate and the culture in place. This day of immersion is crucial, as it allows the candidates to get a clear idea of what awaits them at Comet. We want to avoid disappointment and early departures by being very transparent from the beginning of the recruitment process. With this approach, the post-hire resignation rate is low because expectations and responsibilities are clearly defined for each employee from the start.
What jobs are you currently recruiting at Comet?
We are recruiting developers (front-end, back-end), as well as data-related functions. This is our core business and we want to strengthen our product and our algorithm that makes it unique. We are also recruiting for our sales team and our "Freelancer Agency", a team dedicated to the loyalty of freelancers in the Comet community, which helps accelerate the matching of our missions.
