Hello Julien! Can you introduce us to B.Conseil?
Hello Nicolas! B.Conseil is a company specializing in the financing of public innovation. Our expertise is wide-ranging, covering all the funds provided by public authorities. This includes the European Union, the regions and the State. We're talking here about subsidies, but also tax levers, such as the Crédit d'Impôt Recherche (Research Tax Credit), the Crédit d'Impôt Innovation (Innovation Tax Credit), etc.
In short, you're a consulting firm that helps customers navigate the CIR maze?
Yes, that's exactly right. Our role is to secure these tax levers for our customers. We do this by providing them with the necessary documents and by assisting them in their dealings with the authorities.
B.Conseil was founded in 2017, and in six years you've grown to around 50 employees. What's your secret to attracting new talent and managing such rapid growth?
It's true that our growth has been rapid, and we're proud of that. Our founder, Aurélienhas a very active policy on LinkedIn, which enables us to attract talent. But our network also plays an important role. Many of our employees start out with us as interns, and then their internships turn into permanent contracts. Our aim is to train young talent in our professions.
So you're banking on young people, turning trainees into full-time employees?
Yes, absolutely. As our profession is not taught in schools, we train young people in the field. When a trainee wants to stay, he's already trained and understands our business.
What type of profiles are you currently looking for?
We're looking for engineers, PhDs, people with a scientific background. But cultural fit is just as important to us. Our business is complex and requires many different skills, so a certain flexibility is necessary.
