We had the pleasure of having coffee with Lucille AnderssonCountry Manager - France at Teamtailor, on a very concrete subject: the choice of an ATS!
As this interview follows our LinkedIn live on the subject, we highly recommend you watch it to understand everything👇
Whatdid you learn in this webinar?
No doubt the angle with which we attacked this subject!
We are both used to being on the 'selling' side of the table. I tried to put myself in the buyer's shoes, using everything I noticed at Teamtailorthat may be lacking in the buying process today.
On the subject of ATS, you can quickly get screwed if you're confronted with a salesperson who doesn't have the advice down pat, so to speak! So the idea was to pass on our tips, the most comprehensive ones, to ensure you make the most informed decision possible.
When choosing a TTY, are there any pitfalls to avoid?
From experience, we can classify them in 3 main categories:
#1 Do not rush your choice, even when the end of your contract is coming up.
#2 Do not fall into a form of universalism: an ATS used in another structure will not necessarily correspond to my expectations and my particular needs!
#3 Do not make a choice without first obtaining:
- The agreement of my management
- An idea of my budget
- Alignment with all the teams involved in the project - in terms of tastes and needs!
During the live show, you talked about the link between employer brand and ATS. Can you tell us a little more about it?
The fact is that this link is not systematic. Unfortunately for recruiters, fortunately for Teamtailor, I feel like saying!
Too many times, we observe that these subjects work in silos. However, the candidate's first point of entry to the company is the job offer, and therefore the career site.
It is therefore essential for a recruiter to check if his ATS has features such as multiposting, a career site, integration with other job boards...
The risk: shooting yourself in the foot by failing to put on the employer brand's glasses on its statistics of pools, recruitment volumes, conversion...so no improvement possible!
Why (re)watch the replay of this webinar?
Good question! First of all, because it is a subject that affects us all on a daily basis. Without being in search of a TTY every month (and fortunately!), we all have an acquaintance, in our entourage, who is concerned.
As mentioned above, the complementary postures of the consultant, the seller and the buyer, in 30mn, separate for me this live from the others, on this subject :)
Many thanks, Lucille 😉
