Hi Guillaume! Can you tell me about Jobfirst in a few words?

JobfirstJobfirst is a CV-free recruitment solution that allows candidates to apply for jobs quickly and easily. Instead of relying on a resume, Jobfirst focuses on the candidate's professional skills and personality. This makes the process more rewarding for job seekers, as they are judged on their skills and soft skills.

On the recruiters' side, we have developed a mobile-first solution, which allows us to reach a large audience, using several communication channels, such as posters, QR codes or even geolocalized ads!

Applications are pre-qualified and sorted by match percentage, making it easy to select the best candidates. This allows recruiters to make unbiased decisions while providing a human-centered experience for candidates.

JobFirst meets the needs of candidates AND recruiters by offering an innovative solution adapted to the changing job market!

Can we recruit for any type of position, without a CV?

It's true that resume-less recruiting began primarily for blue-collar and operational positions, but it's quickly evolving to encompass other types of positions, including white-collar ones! At Jobfirst, we have examples of companies recruiting engineers, devs and even managers via this (non)channel!

Any tips for keeping in touch with your candidates?

At Jobfirst, we prefer texting, which is much more intimate than email. In general, we always read our text messages, whereas we can easily ignore emails. I myself have thousands of unread messages in my inbox!

The idea is to talk directly to the candidate. This is all the more rewarding for blue collar workers, who may not feel as hunted as other profiles.

Using our platform, the recruiter can send the ad directly to these candidates, who will receive it with a message indicating that a recruiter is interested in their profile. They only have to swipe right to validate their application. This creates a one-to-one relationship with the recruiter and enhances the candidate's value. The balance of power is totally changed.

So when that candidate arrives for an interview, he or she already feels valued because they came to find him or her because of their skills. It's a very human approach, and I think everyone wins.

So what does the future of Jobfirst look like? 

The future of Jobfirst looks very bright and things are moving quickly. We are getting bigger and bigger contracts. For the past six months, we have been working hard to adapt and evolve. 

We work with companies that have sites in France, but also in Portugal and Poland. We have to move fast to meet this growing demand. Our technical team is working relentlessly to improve our product. We are also making progress in the field of AI with the generation of job descriptions. We realized that writing a job description was often a problem for even the most experienced recruiters. Hence the idea of saving them time on this subject.

We also see a snowball effect: the more major accounts we attract, the more requests we receive for various positions, including internal ones. Companies are interested in the idea of being able to manage their employees' mobility with a modern tool adapted to the smartphone era.

We are therefore on an exponential growth trajectory, in terms of skills and customer volume. The objective is to continue to grow, and we do not exclude raising new funds to support this growth.
